18th century Ketubah
A Jewish wedding is a joyous occasion. The couple usually gets married underneath a huppah (canopy) which symbolises the home. It is traditional to sign a Ketubah as part of the wedding. A Ketubah is a marriage contract which outlines the responsibilities the couple has to each other.
