Jewish Museum London are proud to display a selection of items and images from Leon Greenman’s life within the dedicated gallery in his honour at the National Holocaust Centre and Museum.
“I knew I would never be free until I told my story”
The gallery focuses on the theme of DETERMINATION. As well as items from key milestones in Leon’s life, his birth, wedding, being a father, and time within the concentration camps, the display celebrates his dedication to telling the world the truth about the Holocaust.
The display includes Leon’s OBE, awarded for his educational work, alongside original signs he made encouraging people to ask him questions; exhibited for the first time.
