Family Day at Swiss Cottage Library
In April, we threw our first family activity day of 2024!
This one was all about Passover.
For the under 5’s, there was an ocean themed sensory corner with bean bags, sea-animal shapes, and different coloured scarves to play with.
The older children got to do two activities: colouring and cutting out different shapes to create a mural and using watercolours to take their own spin at a haggadah from our collection. We got some stunning pieces of art (what else would you expect from an 8-year old!).
For our morning session alone, over 100 people joined us and we got to meet a lot of families from the area. Our youngest visitor was just 3 weeks old! It was amazing to see the children try out the different activities and get creative.
