We asked our interns to choose their favourite objects in the museum. Sonia chose a Megillah from 1647, from Mantua, Italy. Megillah scrolls are handwritten texts which tells the story of Esther in the Bible, which are used during the festival of Purim.

Purim is a festival around February or March when Jews remember the story of persecution and then victory of the Jewish people by dressing up, giving gifts of food to each other and giving money to the poor.
