We asked our interns to choose their favourite objects in the museum. Laura chose an 18th Century Haggadah. A Haggadah book is used at Seder meals during the festival of Passover. The word haggadah means ‘telling’ and is used to retell the story of the Exodus during the Seder meal.

Each fragment of this Haggadah’s page depicts one of the 10 plagues in the Passover story; blood, frogs, bugs, pestilence, wild animals, disease life stop, boils, locusts, darkness and the death of every first born in Egypt.
