The Jewish Museum challenged young people to explore an object from our collections as part of the Animated Museum Project. Over the course of a week these teenagers produced short animated films featuring objects from the Jewish Museum and Jewish Military Museum collections.

This film tells the story of Moss Kimmelman’s Cigarette’s Case.

This cigarette case was bought as a souvenir by Moss Kimmelman during World War II. The case was made by German prisoners of war in Egypt, using aluminium from US aeroplanes and melted toothbrush handles.
