The Jewish Museum challenged young people to explore an object from our collections as part of the Animated Museum Project. Over the course of a week these teenagers produced short animated films featuring objects from the Jewish Museum and Jewish Military Museum collections.

This film looks at the importance of prayer for Trooper Harold Mishon in WWI.

During WWI, prayer books were issued to soldiers.  This specific prayer book belong to Harold Mishon who served with the Royal Field Artillery. Harold took his prayer book everywhere with him. It was a source of hope. Find out more about the journey of Harry’s prayer book in this animated short film.
