Booklet ‘The Great War’

Description

The booklet entitled ‘The Great War’ is a 12-page booklet that is from the office of the Chief Rabbi. The booklet was printed in 1919 and was created by Lea Willams & Co. Ltd. It served as a form of praise and thanks to God for the restoration of peace.

The booklet contains the national anthem in both English and Hebrew and included psalms such as psalm 46 and 117, memorial prayers for those that had fallen in battle and prayers for king and country.
