Opening at JW3, Monday 19th August 2024

Calling all families! Create your own museum display with the Jewish Museum London. Creating Connections is a family focused exhibition taking place at Jw3 this August and led by Jewish Museum London staff.

Visitors will have the chance to create their very own museum displays within the exhibition space, using a variety of culturally and historically significant objects from the Jewish Museum London’s extensive handling collection.

We will also have self-led craft activities along with a sensory area within the exhibition space, perfect for under 5s and those with additional sensory needs to explore.

Creating Connections is FREE to attend and will run on a drop-in basis, between 11.00-12.30 & 13.30-15.00. We look forward to welcoming you!

Access information:  

JW3 is wheelchair and buggy accessible. There are spaces to leave buggies and no pre-booking is required.  

There are accessible toilet facilities and baby changing facilities throughout the building.  

JW3 has several floors and there are lifts available for those who do not wish to use the stairs. 

There is seating available throughout the building for those less able to stand and for those who need to breastfeed. 

There is a café located within the building which serves food and beverages including free drinking water.

Free Wifi is available for all.  

Travel Information: 

Underground 
Finchley Road Station (Metropolitan, Jubilee) is just a 600metre walk or one bus stop away. West Hampstead Station(Jubilee) is an 800metre walk away. And it only takes 15 minutes to walk to JW3 from Hampstead Station (Northern).

Overground 
Finchley Road & Frognal Station is about as close to JW3 as you could wish for.

Buses 
Bus stops for the 13, 113 and N113 buses are right outside our front door and directly across the road. And bus stops for the C11, 139, 187 and 268 are all within 5-10 minutes walk from us.
