Concluding the festival of Sukkot, Simchat Torah is a joyous festival to celebrate the Torah. Each Sabbath, a portion of the Torah is read throughout the year and this yearly cycle ends on the last day of Sukkot when the last portion of the outgoing year, followed by the first portion of the new cycle are being read.
