Explore the collection of the Jewish Military Museum from the comfort of your own home. Discover objects that tell the personal stories of Jewish men and women who have served in a variety of ways. From a First World War Jewish prayer book that saved a soldier’s life to one woman’s experience of Bletchley Park, this tour looks at a range of artefacts.
This tour will be delivered via Zoom and participants will be emailed the link to join a few days in advance.
Join us for a virtual tour revealing Black History and Black Jewish History in the collection.
From the role of ‘blackness’ in Holy Texts to some of the ancient Jewish communities of Africa, we will be exploring the many ways in which race is portrayed through religion.
Led by Learning Officer Shereen Hunte, you will get the opportunity to learn and see some of the rare and unique objects in our collection.
