Come and celebrate with a World Purim Extravaganza!

See incredible Purim-related objects in our collection, hear the reading of the story of Esther and party on down with live music and food from Jewish communities around the world.

For this event, we are partnering with Reform Judaism, JDC Entwine, Progressive Jewish Students UK, EHRS young adults, The Willesden Minyan, and Ohel Moed.

During Purim, we are actively encouraging donations for food banks in Camden and you are invited to bring your contribution with you.

Tickets are sold out, but you could come at 6.45pm to see if there are any cancellations, but we can’t guarantee your place.

Tickets will be available to buy on the door from 8.30pm for the live music segment, as this section is standing room only, thank you.

Event timings:

  • Doors open at 6pm with free roam of the museum and mask making inspired by traditions around the world.
  • At 6:30pm, there will be a tour of megillot in the museum’s collection with a curator from the museum.
  • Prompt 7pm interactive, drag-style reading of the book of Esther with members of The Willesden Minyan and Ohel Moed.
  • The celebration continues from 8:30pm with a line-up of music headlined by EasternBeats Live Band and other world music acts TBC

Ticket price: £10 Adult/ £5 for Concessions and Under 35s.

All tickets include one includes admission to museum galleries, one free drink and free food from Jewish communities around the world
