Visit the museum with special activities just for home educator families!
Your family will have the opportunity to take part in a bespoke programme exploring the Kindertransport. Due to the sensitive nature of the topic we recommend that these workshops are for children aged 9 and above.
This event falls during the festival of Hanukah which coincides with the 80th anniversary of the Kindertransport. All learners will be able to join our museum Hanukah candle lighting ceremony at 4pm and taste sufganiyot (Hanukah doughnuts).
Ticket includes workshop, food tasting and access to all museum galleries.
All attendees should bring a vegetarian packed lunch.
Cost: £8 per child. Free for accompanying adults.

Join us for a virtual tour revealing Black History and Black Jewish History in the collection.
From the role of ‘blackness’ in Holy Texts to some of the ancient Jewish communities of Africa, we will be exploring the many ways in which race is portrayed through religion.
Led by Learning Officer Shereen Hunte, you will get the opportunity to learn and see some of the rare and unique objects in our collection.
