Looking for Ways to Commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day 2022?
Free Live-streamed Event for Secondary Schools
Join the Jewish Museum Learning Team this Holocaust Memorial Day for our free live streamed object talk for London Secondary schools on Thursday 27th January 2022 at 11.30am.
Explore the life of one survivor through his artistic expression to better understand the Holocaust. In line with this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day theme ‘One Day,’ this object talk will explore a piece of artwork by Leon Greenman that depicts the one day that changed his life forever.
The object talk will be followed by a live candle lighting and 1 minute of silence to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust.
This event will be streamed live to zoom via a webinar broadcast link so students will not be able to see each other. Schools that register to attend this special live object talk will receive the zoom link and a free Voice Over Power Point.
This programme is supported by a grant from the Association of Jewish Refugees.
