Jewish Museum London’s building has now closed, but as we undertake our transition towards a future museum, you can find us in a range of places, both in person and online.
This Holocaust Memorial Day Event on 24 January 6-7:30pm will be reflecting on this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day theme ‘Ordinary People’. Explore this theme by hearing the testimonies of Kindertransport refugee Ruth Barnett along with artist, and human rights activist Rahima Mahmut, a member of the Uyghur community. Join us to listen to two ordinary people share their experiences, as we remember the Holocaust and reflect on human rights violations today. This event will be BSL interpreted, courtesy of our partnership with Camden Council, and will conclude with a candle lighting led by the Mayor of Camden, Councillor Nasim Ali OBE.
