Jewish Museum London Statement on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Her Majesty the Queen
The Jewish Museum London wishes to express our deep sadness at the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Her Majesty the Queen.
Her Majesty the Queen has led an unparalleled life of public service, and we recognise her role as a respected and much loved Head of State during her reign of 70 years. During this period her Majesty was a great friend to the British Jewish community and we are grateful for her lasting legacy.
During this time the Museum will provide a space for mourners to attend.
To recognise and respect a life of public service, the Jewish Museum London will close its doors to the public on the date of Her Majesty the Queen’s funeral.
May her memory be for a blessing.
God save the King.
