Cat Chat and Tiger Talk – What Visitors Thought of our Judith Kerr Exhibition

by Alice Quine, Assistant Curator

As part of the
museum’s exhibition on children’s author and illustrator Judith Kerr, visitors
were encouraged to leave their thoughts and opinions on the exhibition.

Little
did we know this unsuspecting feedback book would be filled with a wonderful
array of literary and artistic tributes to both Judith and her furry creations.
Here is a selection of our favourite responses.

Many chose to
express their feelings without words. Artistic abilities ranged from the
youngest scribblers…

… to the more seasoned artistes

For some older visitors, the exhibition proved emotionally draining

While a lot of young museum goers just wanted to hang our with the tiger and do cartwheels

Messages were left for Judith, thanking her for artistic inspiration and childhood memories

And the exhibition received some great feedback, with visitors using the opportunity to showcase their ever-expanding vocabulary

Thank you Judith!
