Explore the Designs On Britain exhibition and try your hand at creating moquette textiles, like those on display, with experts from London Craft Club.

Moquette is the pure wool hard-wearing seat covering that we're so familiar with from London's buses and tubes. Not only is anti-slip, incredibly tough and sustainably made, moquette patterns have been created by some of Britain's most notable designers. Try working with this fantastically fit-for-purpose textile to create a hardback notebook, and get an insight into why it's stood the test of time. Amber Cooper-Davies, illustrator and bookbinding tutor, will show you how to make a hardbound notepad incorporating some of this iconic fabric.
